Common nouns

Learning objective : Students will be able to identify common

nouns.

Explanation:

 A common noun is the generic name of a person, place, animal

or thing.

 A common noun does not start with a capital letter.

 Naming words are many in number. So, they have a common

name and cannot be specialized.

Example- teacher, pencil, cow, zoo

Learning outcome: Students can identify common nouns.
