                                                  One and many


               Learning objective : Students will learn all the rules of

               changing from singular to plural(adding 'es', 'ies', 'ves').





               Explanation:


                     Singular nouns refer to just one person, place, animal or thing.



                                Example- boy, pen, mango, wolf, baby


                     Plural nouns refer to two or more persons, places, animals or

                       things.


                               Example- boys, pens, mangoes, wolves, babies


                     Every naming word is either one or more than one. In order to


                       differentiate between one and many, we follow the singular

                       plural rules for different words.

                     Some words change completely from one to many

                       Ex: foot – feet

                              tooth- teeth


                               person- people

                              child- children

                               mouse- mice

                               woman- women
