clause, and answer the questions Who/ Whom? and What?

 Pen(Direct object)answers the question gave what?
 Her(Indirect object) answers the question gave to whom?

 How to identify Transitive & Intransitive Verbs?

:- First find out the object for the verb in the sentence.
2:- Now ask questions: what or whom?
3:- If you get answer of the above questions, and the answer is object, then we can say
that the verb is transitive else intransitive verb.
Now let’s understand this concept by example:-
I bought a book.
