                      The  New law, Hindu Succession Amendment act,2005 gave women an
                        equal share in the agricultural and residential property.
                       It treats men and women equally in the matter of inheritance.
                      It  is a significant step towards protecting the rights of women and is enforced
                        to remove gender discrimination.
