                SUBTOPIC: MULTIPLICATION AND DIVISION OF FRACTIONS


                MULTIPLICATION OF FRACTIONS:
                STEP 1:Multiply the top numbers (the numerators).
                STEP 2: Multiply the bottom numbers (the denominators).
                STEP 3: Simplify the fraction if needed.

































                RECIPROCAL OF A FRACTION:
                     When the product of two numbers is 1, then each of the number is said to be the
                      reciprocal of the other. It is also called the multiplicative inverse.

                     When we multiply a number by its reciprocal we get 1.To get the reciprocal of a
                      fraction, just swap the Numerator and Denominator.

                EXAMPLE:
                Find the reciprocal of 3/5


                Solution: Reciprocal of 3/5 = 5/3
