              Introduction :

              Natural numbers   are the numbers which we use for counting something in our daily life.
               Natural numbers also known as counting numbers. Natural numbers start from 1 and goes on till
               infinite. Zero does not come under Natural number as we do not use 0 for counting something.


              Whole numbers contain all natural numbers including zero.


               Example: 0, 1,2,3,4,










              Predecessor:

               Predecessor of a number is one less than the given number or

               When 1 is subtracted from a given number we obtain the predecessor of that number.


               Example:  Predecessor of 16 is 16 – 1 = 15.

              Successor:


               Successor of a number is one more than the given number or

               When 1 is added to a given number we obtain the successor of that number.
