EXPERIMENT: - To understand the chemical change taking place when ENO is mixed
with water.
Materials Required:
Beaker having 500ml capacity, a candle, an ENO pouch, water & matchbox.
Observation: Students will observe that the burning candle extinguishes when ENO is
mixed with water due to the production of carbon dioxide foam.
Inference: ENO reacts with water to produce carbon dioxide gas with foam which puts
out the fire.
