                                             PRACTICAL WORKSHEET

               AIM: To separate the mixture of sand and water by filtration.

               MATERIALS REQUIRED:  Sand, water, beaker, glass rod, filter paper, and funnel

               METHOD: Mix sand and water to make a mixture. Put the mixture in a beaker and add
               water to it. Now, fold the filter paper into a cone. Stir the mixture with a glass rod. Pass
               this mixture through the cone-shaped filter paper fixed in the funnel.
