Constructing a Square
Steps to construct a square with a side of 6 cm:
1. Draw a line segment PQ of 6 cm.
2. Use a compass to draw a perpendicular line from point P.
3. Mark point S on the perpendicular such that PS is also 6 cm.
4. Repeat the process from point Q to complete the square to find point ‘S’.
5. Join RS.
6. PQRS is the required square.
