Test of Divisibility by 25, 50, and 100
Learning Objectives:
Students will be able to:
• Understand what it means for a number to be divisible by another number.
• Learn and recall the divisibility rules for 25, 50, and 100.
• Identify whether a number is divisible by 25, 50, or 100 using the rules.
• Apply divisibility rules to solve simple number problems.
• Develop number sense and logical reasoning through pattern recognition.
➤ Divisible by 25
• A number is divisible by 25 if it ends in 00, 25, 50, or
75.
• Examples:
o 125 (ends in 25)
o 300 (ends in 00)
o 675 (ends in 75)
o 142 (does not end in 00, 25, 50, or 75)
➤ Divisible by 50
• A number is divisible by 50 if it ends in 00 or 50.
• Examples:
o 150 (ends in 50)
o 200 (ends in 00)
o 175 (ends in 75, not 50 or 00)
➤ Divisible by 100
• A number is divisible by 100 if it ends in 00.
