               Introduction


                     Introduce character profile: "A description of a character's traits and
                       characteristics."

                     Discuss why character profiles are important in storytelling.



               Exploring Characters


                            Read a picture book or short story together.
                            Ask students to describe the main character's:

                           - Physical appearance
                           - Personality traits

                           - Actions and behavior

               Creating a Character


                            Provide a character profile template or have students create their

                              own.
                            Have students fill out the template or write a short paragraph

                              describing a character.

               Activity


                              Character Description: Students describe their favourite character's
                              physical appearance and personality traits.
