Topic: Figurative Language-colours with real life.

               Introduction

Colors are not just visual elements; they carry meanings and emotions that can enhance our
understanding of the world around us. In this lesson, students will discover how different
colors can represent various feelings and ideas, and how they can use this knowledge to
               express themselves in creative ways.

               Learning Objectives

By the end of this lesson, students will be able to:

                   1. Identify different colors and their associated meanings.
                   2. Understand how colors can be used in figurative language to convey emotions and
                       ideas.

                   3. Connect colors to real-life situations and personal experiences.

               Activity

               Color Emotion Chart

                   1. Provide students with a large sheet of paper divided into sections for different colors
(e.g., red, blue, yellow, green, etc.).
                   2. Ask students to think of emotions or ideas that each color represents (e.g., red for
                       love, blue for calmness).

                   3. Have students draw or write examples of real-life situations that connect with each
color (e.g., a red heart for love, a blue sky for calmness).

                   4. Encourage students to share their charts with the class and discuss their connections.

               Learning Outcome

Students will demonstrate their understanding of colors and their significance by creating a
Color Emotion Chart. They will be able to articulate how different colors relate to emotions
and real-life experiences, showcasing their ability to connect figurative language with their
everyday lives. This activity will also promote discussion and collaboration among peers,
               enhancing their communication skills.
