                 Topic- Time


                 Learning Objective:



                 Children will be able to:


                    •  Comprehend and predict time by seeing the activity.


                 Discussion:


                    •  Explaining them how to read a clock and about the long hand
                        and short hand.

                    •  Short hand shows the hours and is called the hour hand.

                        The long hand shows the minutes and is called the minute

                        hand.

                    •  Discussing that the hour hand tells the hour.  For ex when
                        the long hand is on 12 and short hand is on 4. We say its 4

                        o’ clock.

                    •  Showing them a clock cutout.

                    •  Asking them few more questions by keeping the minute hand

                        on 12 and moving the hour hand to different numbers.
                    •  Repeating this activity to reinforce the concept better.



                 Questions(oral):


                    •  Which hand of the clock helps us to see the hour?

                    •  When the hour hand is at 12 and the minute hand is on 12 ,
                        so what will be the time?

                    •  What does the short hand of a clock refer to?
