Topic: Recapitulation of ‘qu’ sound.

Learning Objective:

Children will be able to

 Comprehend and identify words having ‘qu’ sound.
 Read words having ‘qu’ sound.
 Communicate verbally using parts of speech.

 Demonstrate active and attentive listening.
 Able to frame and write meaningful sentences.

Activity: qu wheel.

Discussion:

 Read the story.
 All the ‘qu’ sound words from the story.

 ‘q’ is never alone it is always glued to ‘u’.
 When ‘q’ and ‘u’ come together it makes ‘qu’ sound.

 Action for ‘qu’ is “make a duck’s beak with your hands and
say qu qu qu.

 We can only blend some of the words.
 Sound and action of ‘qu’ sound words.

 Count the number of sounds with the help of phoneme
fingers.
 Arm blending/building.
