Topic: Recapitulation of ‘ie’ sound.

Learning Objective:

Children will be able to

 Comprehend and identify words having ‘ie’ sound.
 Read words having ‘ie’ sound.
 Communicate verbally using parts of speech.

 Demonstrate active and attentive listening.
 Able to frame and write meaningful sentences.

Discussion:

 Read the story.
 All the ‘ie’ sound words from the story.

 When ‘i’ and ‘e’ come together it makes ‘ie’ sound.
 Action for ‘ie’ is “stand in attention position, salute and

say ‘ie’.
 We can only blend some of the words.
 Sound and action of ‘ie’ sound words.

 Count the number of sounds with the help of phoneme
fingers.

 Arm blending/building.
