Topic: Recapitulation of ‘ai’ sound.
Learning Objective:
Children will be able to
● Comprehend and identify words having ‘ai’ sound.
● Read words having ‘ai’ sound.
● Communicate verbally using parts of speech.
● Demonstrate active and attentive listening.
● Able to frame and write meaningful sentences.
Discussion:
● Recap all the ‘ai’ sound words from the story.
● All the ‘ai’ sound words.
● When two vowels go walking, the first one does the talking.
So, when ‘a’ and ‘i’ come together’ ‘a’ says its name and ‘i’
remains silent.
● Action for ‘ai’ is “open your right palm and place it behind
your right ear and make the sound ‘ai’ as if your ear is
paining’’.
● We can only blend some of the words.
● Sound and action of ‘ai’ sound words.
● Count the number of sounds with the help of phoneme
fingers.
