Topic: ‘dr’ sound.
Learning Objective:
Children will be able to
● Comprehend and identify words having ‘dr’ sound.
● Read words having ‘dr’ sound.
● Communicate verbally using parts of speech.
● Demonstrate active and attentive listening.
● Able to frame and write meaningful sentences.
Discussion:
● Enact (dress, drive, drag, drink etc).
● Let the child guess.
● Say some ‘dr’ sound words.
● When ‘d’ and ‘r’ come together they make the sound ‘dr’.
● We can only blend some of the words.
● Sound and action of ‘dr’ sound words.
● Count the number of sounds with the help of phoneme
fingers.
● Arm blending/building.
