Children will be able to

● Comprehend and identify words having ‘gr’ sound.
● Read words having ‘gr’ sound.

● Communicate verbally using parts of speech.

● Demonstrate active and attentive listening.

● Able to frame and write meaningful sentences.

Discussion:

● Show a grin, wear a green dress and show green vegetables

and green plants in the garden.

● Read the story from the content book.
● Say some words from the story that begin with the sound

‘gr’.

● When ‘g’ and ‘r’ come together they make the sound ‘gr’.

● We can only blend some of the words.

● Sound and action of ‘gr’ sound words.

● Count the number of sounds with the help of phoneme
fingers.

● Arm building/blending
