Topic: ‘th’ sound.
Learning Objective:
Children will be able to
● Comprehend and identify words having ‘th’ sound.
● Read words having ‘th’ sound.
● Communicate verbally using parts of speech.
● Demonstrate active and attentive listening.
● Able to frame and write meaningful sentences.
Discussion:
● Showing some pictures that begin with ‘th’ sound.
● When ‘t’ and ‘h’ come together they make the sound ‘th’
(while saying ‘th’ the tip of the tongue has to touch the
back of the upper front teeth while pushing air out between
the tongue and the bony ridge behind the upper front
teeth).
● Say some words that begin with the sound ‘th’.
● Sound and action of ‘th’ sound words.
● Count the number of sounds with the help of phoneme
fingers.
● Arm building/blending.
