Topic: Uses of ‘these’ and ‘those’.
Learning Objective:
Children will be able to
● Know the uses of these/those appropriately in a sentence.
● Communicate verbally using parts of speech.
● Demonstrate active and attentive listening.
● Able to frame and write meaningful sentences.
Discussion:
● ‘These’ and ‘those’ are sight words.
● We cannot blend these words, we can only memorize it.
● These’ and ‘those’ are plural, used for more than one
object.
● We use ‘these’ for more than one object that is near us.
Ex-These are my nails.
● We use ‘those’ for more than one object that is far from
us.
Ex-Those are the beautiful stars in the sky.
Activity: Activity on positional words.
