               SUB-TOPIC- Indian musical instruments



               LEARNING OBJECTIVE- To know about different types of Indian musical

               instruments.



               DISCUSSION-
                     A song sounds better with musical instruments.

                     Beat and rhythm are basic music concepts.
                     We can create music by beating or clapping our hands or stomping our

                       feets  to  create  rhythm.  For  example-  clap-clap-clap,  clap-clap,  clap-
                       clap.
                     There are different types of musical instruments: Indian  and western

                     Name  of  some  traditional  musical  instruments-  Tambourine,  violin,
                       tabla,  flute,  drum,  mridangam,  pakhawaj,  nagara,  tango,  harmonium,

                       sitar, sarangi, shehnai etc.
                     Activity-
                     Video on Indian classical musical instrumental song to be shown.

                     Students  are  asks  to  share  the  name  of  some  traditional  musical
                       instrument.
