SUB-TOPIC- Flowers and fruits

LEARNING OBJECTIVE-To know about different fruits and flowers.

DISCUSSION-

● Flower is the most important colourful part of the plant.
● Flowers have good smell and are used for making incense sticks,
perfume, talcum powder etc. For example- jasmine, mogra, lily, lavender

etc.
● But some flowers do not have fragrances (odourless) for example-

hibiscus, sunflower, dahlia etc.
● Flowers are of different colours, shapes, sizes and smell.
● We love to eat fruits which grow from flowers.

● The fruits are of different taste, texture, colour and of different
sizes.

● We can see seeds inside the fruits.
● Some fruits have one seed for example-mango, avocado, date, plum,
cherry etc.

● Some fruits have many seeds for example- apple, orange, grapes, pear
pomegranate, watermelon, strawberry, guava, etc.

● Activity- Drawing your favourite fruit that you enjoy the most.
