               SUB-TOPIC-  Colour patterns




               LEARNING OBJECTIVE- To be able to identify what a pattern is and predict

               what should come next in patterns.




               DISCUSSION-

                     To introduce pattern with an action song.
                     A pattern is formed when a set of shapes, numbers or designs are repeated

                       over and over again. For ex-square, triangle, square, triangle
                     Identify and complete symmetrical pattern.
                     Patterns are found everywhere in world like  you can see patterns in the
                       floor tiles ,flowers, objects , dress etc
                     Activity – Draw colour pattern in the notebook.

               REVISION QUESTIONS (Oral)- Children will be asked questions to say and
               identify patterns .



                   1.   If the first colour is red, next is green, then again red, what will be the next
                       colour?
                   2.  If the first is a yellow t-shirt, next is a blue t-shirt, then again a yellow t-shirt,
                       then what will be the next colour t-shirt?
