               SUB TOPIC-  Object Patterns






               LEARNING OBJECTIVE- To be able to identify what a pattern is and predict
               what should come next in patterns.





               DISCUSSION-


                     Introduce pattern with an action song.
                     A pattern is formed when a set of objects, shapes, numbers or designs are
                       repeated over and over again. For ex-cat, dog, cat, dog etc.
                     Patterns are found everywhere around us. Like you can see patterns in the
                       floor tiles, flowers, objects, dress etc.
                     Identify and complete symmetrical pattern.
                     Activity – Make chess board pattern in the drawing notebook.

               REVISION QUESTIONS (Oral) - Children will be asked questions to identify
               numbers.


                   1 .If the first picture is a tree, next picture is a flower, then again a tree, what
                   will be the next picture?

                   2. If the first picture is bat, next picture is a ball, then again a bat, what will
                   be the next picture?
