               TOPIC- food we eat

               SUB TOPIC-Healthy/junk food


               LEARNING OBJECTIVE –Student will learn the importance of eating

               healthy food. They can categorize healthy food and unhealthy food.

               DISCUSSION-

                     Keep two boxes with two different food items, (some vegetables,
                       fruits, nuts, dairy products, bread, noodles packet, chocolate

                       wrapper, chips wrapper, cold drinks can and ice-cream etc).

                     Ask the children to name those objects.

                     Initiate a discussion on eating healthy food is good for them and

                       why they shouldn’t eat junk food.
                     Picture book- Show them the two different charts of the picture

                       book where the healthy and unhealthy foods are shown.


               REVISION QUESTIONS (ORAL)-

                     Ask the student that which food box they like to carry with them
                       and why.

                     Do you think healthy foods are not tasty?
