                 TOPIC- Letters and phonic sounds

                 SUB TOPIC- Zebra activity


                 LEARNING OBJECTIVE- Students will recognise the uppercase and

                 lower-case letter ‘Zz’, its sound along with the action.

                 DISCUSSION-.


                    •  Recapitulate of letter ‘Zz.

                    •  Letter ‘Zz’ is written on a chart paper.
                    •  Students are provided with stripes of black colour.

                    •  Students are instructed to paste the strips on the letter 'z'.
                    •  The activity is concluded by drawing a mouth and a tail of the
                        zebra.

                 REVISION QUESTIONS (ORAL)- Ask the students questions like-

                    1. What you have made?

                    2. What is the beginning sound of the word ‘zebra’?

                    3. Can you name a number that starts with letter ’z’?
