Personne , Nulle part and Aucun(e) are always placed after the past

participle of the main verb.

Eg. Tu as trouvé quelqu’un ?-Non, je n’ai trouvé personne.

(placed after the main verb)

However, others are placed after the auxiliary (etre/avoir) or before the past
participle of the main verb.

Eg.

a) Vous avez travaillé encore?- Non, je n’ai plus travaillé.
b) Tu as acheté quelque chose ?- Non, je n’ai rien acheté.(placed before

the main verb)
LES ADJECTIFS INTEROGATIFS

Interrogative Adjectives

Interrogative adjectives are used to ask question with ‘which and what (quel,
quelle, quells, quelles ). These interrogative adjectives agree in number and
gender with the noun they represent. So check the gender and number of the

noun after the blank while attempting these questions.

Points to remember:

1. Observe the sentence carefully and be assured about the gender of the

noun and the number.
2. One must recall the table of adjectives or interrogative adjectives.

3. Select the appropriate noun.
