thought that she is lying in

can't hear ,see or feel as she is
beyond mortal world

He feels that she can't feel
the touch of years; can't age
as she is dead now

the extreme grief has
made him insensitive
to all human fears

has lost a loved one

the poet feels
that his spirit
feels
numbed
