LES ADJECTIFS INTERROGATIFS
(Interrogative adjectives)
1. The interrogative adjectives are quel, quelle and quelles.
2. The adjective quel agrees with the nouns it modifies.
Eg. Quels livres lis-tu?
Quelles robes achètes-tu ?
3. The only verb that separates quel from its noun is être.
Eg. Quel est votre nom?
Quelle est la question ?
I. We use faire (to make, to do) followed by the preposition
de with activities includingsport.
II. We use jouer (to play) with games and sports that we
actually play.It is followed by the preposition a.
Note: We use jouer (to play )followed by the preposition
de with instruments of music.
• Je joue de la guitar.
• Je joue du piano.
• Je joue du violon.
Expressions with ‘faire’
Quel temps fait-il ? How is the weather ?
Il fait beau/chaud/froid. The weather is fine/hot/cold.
Il fait soleil/du vent/du It is sunny/windy/foggy.
