                        Gradually,  the efficiency  of the imperial         Old Mughal provinces  like Awadh,
                         administration  broke  down.                        Bengal   and  Hyderabad.

                       It became  difficult for the later                   Watan Jagirs which included  several
                       Mughal emperors  to keep  a check on their            Rajput principalities.
                       Powerful   mansabdars.

                     Peasant  and Zamindars rebelled                        States  under control  of Marathas,
