Chapter 10 – Symmetry and Pattern
Sub-topic-1:- Symmetry in 2D shapes,alphabets,numbers
Symmetry - Symmetry most often refers to mirror or reflective symmetry; that is,
a line (in 2-D) or plane (in 3-D) can be drawn through an object such that the two
halves are mirror images of each other.
Symmetry is something that we observe in many places in our daily lives without
even noticing it. It is easily noticeable in various arts, buildings, and monuments.
Nature uses symmetry to make things beautiful. For example, consider the
pictures of the butterfly and the leaf .
