Sub-topic-4:-ADDITION OF MONEY-

Rule- To add given amounts of money ,We will follow the following steps

Step-1-Express the given amounts in figures,using decimal notation .

Step-2- Arrange the given amounts in a column in such a way that rupees part will be
under rupees column and paise will be in paise column and decimal points fall in one
column.

Step-3- Then add as ordinary numbers.

Step-4- After getting the sum ,put the decimal point in the decimal point’s column.

Example-1: Add ₹732.65, ₹34 and ₹0.56

Step-1: ₹732.65, ₹34 and ₹0.56
