In order to convert time in 12- hour clock to 24-hour clock format, we can follow the
following table.

12 midnight – 12:59 or subtract 12 from

b) 12:30 p.m. = 12:30 hours
Add 12 hours or a) 4:45 p.m. = 16:45 hours
1 p.m. – 11:59 p.m. add 12 to the initial
two digits b) 11:50 p.m. = 23:50 hours
