• Different types of crops are grown which provide food for people of our
country.
• Agriculture also provides raw materials for many industries.
Crops in India are classified into two types:
Food crops – rice, wheat, maize, millets, pulses etc.
Cash Crops – Cotton, jute, sugarcane, oilseeds, coffee etc.
