Notes:
The introduction of harmful gases and other impurities in the air that
make it dirty and harmful for living beings is known as air pollution.
There are different causes of air pollution such as-
1. Burning of fuel- Fuels such as coal and petroleum are burnt in
factories which release harmful gases to the environment.
2. Emission of harmful gases from vehicles- Vehicles on road
release a lot of harmful gases.
