Notes:
• The frogs lay hundreds of eggs in water.
• When the eggs hatch, tiny young known as tadpoles, come
out.
• The tadpoles start swimming in water.
• A tadpole has a tail and gills.
• In a span of 12-16 weeks, a tadpole fully develops into an
adult frog.
• During this period, the gills of a tadpole are replaced by
lungs, the tail disappears and other organs also develop.
