CANOT BE NO FIXED NO FIXED CAN FLOW
TOUCHED SHAPE VOLUME EASILY
EXAMPLES
Oxygen Carbon Water Smog

NOTES:
GASES -
• Gases have no fixed shape and fixed volume.
• They cannot be touched.
• Gases can flow easily. They are also called fluids like liquids.
In gases the particles are very loosely packed. Thus, there are large spaces
between the particles in gases, as a result, the particles can move freely in any
direction.
Examples: oxygen, carbon dioxide, nitrogen
