machines and manual labour in industries.
Factors responsible for the growth of industries:
1. Raw material- Raw materials help produce anything. For ex- Without cotton
there will no clothes available for us to wear.
2. Power- Industries run on diesel, petrol, coal, oil and electricity.
3. Transport-Railways, trucks, canters, etc. Carry raw materials to various
industries and finished goods to market.
4. Machinery- Machines help convert raw materials to finished goods.
5. Human resource- The machines in the industries are run by skilled labours.
6. Money/capital-It is the basic requirement for purchasing land, machinery
and paying salaries to employees.
