Outline of the story

Learning objective : Students will be able to write a story

with the help of an outline.

Explanation :

• A story has a title, characters, setting, problem,

solution and a moral.

• To write a story, we should have an idea about the

above elements.

• A story outline plays a very significant role in writing a

complete story with all the elements.

• An outline is made up of incomplete sentences which

tell us about who the characters are, what is the
setting and about problems and solutions.

• An outline gives a clear idea about the matter in the
story.

Learning outcome : Students can write a story with the help
